Greenoak Hideout Terms & Conditions
On completion of your booking, you are entering into a contract with Greenoak Hideout, whether this booking is made directly or indirectly via a third party. Your booking with us is subject to these Terms & Conditions. By making a booking, you agree that:-
Clients responsibility
While staying at Greenoak Hideout you have a responsibility to behave in an appropriate and legal manner with respect to our property and other guests and their property.
During your stay you are responsible for informing us of any damage or losses to our property.
You will also be liable to pay us for any damage or losses that you have caused to our property (excluding reasonable wear and tear).
Music and noise level
Although we want you to have a good time here at Greenoak Hideout, we do ask that you respect our noise curfew and adhere to our no- stereo or speakers ban. We ask all our guests to keep noise to an absolute minimum from 10.30pm to 7.30am, to allow our guests the most peaceful and enjoyable stay. We do understand if you want to have quiet chat around a campfire, but please be mindful that our Yurts are very close together, so conversations may be heard by our other guests.
Dogs
We do allow well-behaved dogs here at Greenoak Hideout. Please do respect that we do have other fur friends and wild animals living on the grounds, therefore all dogs must be kept on leads when around the premises.
Wildlife
There is an abundance of wildlife at Greenoak Hideout. Please do enjoy it but be careful not to disturb. Do not leave food out and do not leave rubbish outside the Yurts, put it in the bins provided.
No Smoking
All the Greenoak Hideout Yurts have a strict No Smoking Policy. Anyone who smokes outdoors is responsible for disposing of their cigarette butts safely and in the areas provided and must not litter the surrounding areas.
Bookings
Once you have made your booking, the dates will be held upon receipt of a 25% non-refundable deposit or payment in full. Once your booking is established, you will receive a booking confirmation email from Greenoak Hideout within 48 hours of your booking being completed, which you must check carefully. The email will enclose a receipt of the deposit you have paid and also a reminder of the date when your full payment will be due. Any booking made less than 4 weeks in advance of your check in date must be paid in full immediately and is non-refundable.
If you do not receive your booking confirmation email within a week of booking, please notify us on info@greenoakhideout.co.uk.
Group Bookings

Alteration to a booking
If for any reason, you need to alter a booking with us please contact Greenoak Hideout immediately by emailing us on info@greenoakhideout.co.uk . You will need to give us the full details if your alteration to the booking. Whilst we will always try to help to enable a satisfactory conclusion. However, we cannot guarantee that such requests will be met so please do give as much notice as possible.
Cancellation of a booking
We understand that due to certain events you may be unable to begin or fulfil your stay at Greenoaks Hideout. Whilst this is extremely unfortunate, the following conditions must be adhered to:

In the rental price of each of our Yurts at Greenoak Hideout, the following is included:

Number of guests per property
The maximum number of guests permitted in the yurts must not exceed the number stated on the booking form. Contact us if this is an issue for you and we may be able to come to a suitable arrangement.
Day visitors
By prior arrangement with us. The facilities are for the sole use of the residents.
Arrival and Departure times
Our check in time is 3pm onwards. We recommend that you arrive in daylight as it’s much more peaceful for our other guests to not have vehicle noise on the site from cars arriving and unloading after 8pm. However, we do understand that it is not always possible so if you are unable to arrive by 8pm, please do let us know so that we can ensure we are able to meet you when you arrive to make it easier for you to find your way. If we are not around when you arrive, please call our mobile 07946678092 then we can check you have everything you need.
Our check out time is 11am.
Pricing
We reserve the right to amend advertised prices at any time. We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. At the time of booking you will be informed of the prices applicable. The price stated on the booking confirmation is binding. We are VAT registered and the price advertised is inclusive of VAT.
Alpaca experience and Pony rides

We do ask that whilst on these experiences you behave in a respectful manner and follow the guidelines that have been given to you by the hosts.
Flames, hunting and fireworks
No firearms, hunting equipment, fireworks or Chinese lanterns are permitted on the site.
Assumption of Risks and Insurance
At Greenoak Hideout we have opportunities to take part in fun activities such as our Alpaca Experience and Pony rides. However, this does require our site to be encompassed by many fences and fencing, in order to keep our animals contained and safe. We ask that you must be responsible for your own safety and that of the rest of your party by not entering the animal’s enclosures unsupervised at any time. Please do not stick hands or heads through the fencing, our animals are friendly but like any other animal, they can be unpredictable. We will ensure that the animal’s food is locked away. However, it is your responsibility to know where your children are at all times. Children must be accompanied by an adult around the site and when taking part in our Alpaca Experience and Pony rides. Protective gear will be given to guests that take part in the Pony rides.
We also have a pond on our grounds, which attracts lots of wonderful wildlife. However, this could be a potential drowning hazard. Members of staff will make you aware of where it is located on arrival. It is your responsibility to supervise your children around our grounds, so please take care and ensure you know where they are at all times.
Also, please be aware that our equipment such as, the barbeque and heater may be dangerous if misused. We understand that accidents can happen, however, we do not hold ourselves responsible for such accidents (to the greatest extent permitted by law). It is your responsibility to supervise children in your party. If any equipment provided to you looks faulty and /or unsafe, please notify us as soon as possible.
Insurance
Each member of your party is strongly recommended to take out personal travel insurance in the event of an accident and your holiday being cut short. It is therefore your responsibility to purchase adequate and appropriate insurance for your party’s needs.
Liability
Whilst we make reasonable effort to maintain a secure site, we accept no liability for theft, loss or damage of any of the tenant’s property, during or as a result of your stay. We do ask that you take your personal belongings and valuables with you when travelling off site.
Guests that bring their own bicycles must ensure they are locked, please bring your own locks.
We cannot be held responsible for damage or theft to bicycles left on the property. Bicycles are NOT permitted within the yurts or tents.
Our right to evict
We may terminate our contract with you and ask you to leave your Accommodation and the Site immediately (without any compensation being payable) if:
Complaints
We hope you will enjoy your stay however should any element not be to your satisfaction please address queries and concerns to us as soon as possible so that we can address them during your stay. If you have any complaint about your stay, please notify Greenoak Hideout as soon as possible but no later than 14 days after you check out. If you don’t follow this procedure, there will be less opportunity for us to investigate and resolve your complaint and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We will do everything possible to address your complaint.
Force Majeure – Adverse Weather Conditions
In exceptional circumstances including ‘Force Majeure’, it may be necessary for us to cancel part or all of your holiday on safety grounds, in these circumstances, no refunds are issued for any reason whatsoever.
We do not accept responsibility for anything that adversely affects your holiday that is outside of our control. These circumstances are known as ‘Force Majeure’ events and are circumstances that we could not, even with due care, have foreseen or avoided. Such circumstances include (but are not limited to) war, civil unrest, industrial action, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, foot and mouth disease, pandemics and all other similar events outside our control. We will endeavour to manage any problems caused as a result of Force Majeure event but shall be under no obligation to do so and shall not be liable to you for any losses or additional expenses caused by a Force Majeure event.
Photos
We encourage you to take fabulous photos of your holiday at Greenoak Hideout for your own use. All photos shared with Greenoak Hideout through social media will be free to be used without accreditation or payment by Greenoak Hideout. If possible, we will let you know when this does occur. Please do tag us in your social media posts as we would love to see your pictures!
